Through lectures by scholars of North and South
Korean history and literature, participants in this Program for Teaching East Asia workshop will gain perspectives of
everyday life in the two Koreas and consider Korea’s division and
contemporary situations through multiple perspectives. Participants will
explore the use primary and secondary sources to compare and integrate
information about the Koreas in their social studies, world literature,
