Rose Community Foundation Grants

In early 2016, Roots & Branches will make grants to support organizations, programs or projects that address one or both of the following grant priorities:

1.    Strengthening families and communities through increasing access to healthy food and nutrition education
2.    Increasing access to Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) careers for young adults ages 16 to 24 through education and skill development

We invite interested organizations to review the attached 2015 Request for Proposals for a complete description of these grant priorities, including eligibility information and instructions on how to apply. At least $73,632 will be available to grant through this Request for Proposals. The deadline to submit a proposal is December 8, 2015.

Our grant priorities reflect our desire to support the Jewish ideals of tzedakah, giving in the pursuit of a more just world, and v'hechezakta bo, strengthening those who need help in becoming self-sufficient. These ideals have strengthened our cohort and we believe will strengthen our community as well.
