ASCD (Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development) reports
that the Senate will begin debate on the No Child Left
Behind (NCLB) replacement bill—the “Every Child Achieves” Act (S.1177)
on Tuesday, July 7. This debate is seven
years past due, and the bipartisan S.1177 could finally provide schools with
the updated guidance and supports that they need.
