Historic People and Places in Estes Park

Historic People & Places: Estes Park, the Estes Valley & Rocky Mountain National Park is taught by Dr. James Pickering. Pickering is the historian laureate of the Town of Estes Park and recently retired from being a professor of English at the University of Houston. While at the University of Houston, he also served as dean, provost, and president. He written or edited 30 books on the RMNP-Estes Park region, Colorado and the West, several of which have received awards.
